Xocolatl Short Film
Toñito and Annita find themselves playing in their traditional mexican kitchen, while they are having breakfast. In the meantime, they tell the story of how chocolate was created according to the Aztec mythology.
This short film was made through 3D and 2D animation techniques. In this project I was the Art Director, concept artist and 2D and 3D animator. Through the rest of the site, you will find some elements from the preproduction I designed and animated. I challenge you to spot them. Finally, a special mention must be said. This project was made with the help of magnificent, talented and hard worker artists. Take time to see their names in the credits.

The character's model is self-created, the setting and props were input from peers.

Previous step, was to sculpt the model in T-pose.

The model was based on my own vision of the character.
